Management Capability
The company is owned and managed by Mr. Phuti Molokomme, who holds a B-Tech in Quantity Surveying and currently pursuing a M-Tech in Construction Management. Mr. Phuti Molokomme has more than 10 years’ worth of experience in the construction industry. Over the years Mr. Molokomme took up project management roles on a private scale for clients; managing construction deliverables for small construction companies (managing the time invested in projects, budget, quality & conscience of OHS). He assisted small construction companies to further develop his construction/project management skills.
He has successfully completed several enterprise development programmes (ED) with various companies. Phuti has the proven ability to manage shareholders expectations and a proven track record of scaling up start-up companies. He has direct Business Development responsibilities to effectively manage, identify, generate, and build new relationships and as well as new business opportunities that support GECG’s sales and marketing strategies.
Environmental Management
GECG is working towards being regarded as one of the earthworks construction leader, in environmental management. We are aware of the impact that our work can have on the environment, and as such, environmental management forms an important element of our project management and reporting systems.
GECG adheres to an environmental policy that ensures it complies with all relevant environmental laws and regulations, takes all practicable steps to prevent pollution in our activities, and conserves resources through the efficient use of energy and materials.
Health & Safety
Occupational health and safety is a priority for GECG, and our strong safety record is a key competitive advantage. GECG is committed to providing a safe, healthy and positive working environment for all its employees and those under its care.
We aim to eliminate all accident that results in fatality or permanently alters a person’s life and to minimize, and ultimately eliminate, all lost-time accidents on our sites. Safety management committees undertake monthly safety audits of every project, to ensure their compliance with the safety policy.
